Project Description
I designed and developed YouthVisionEU as a digital space for youth-focused European content, participation and project communication. The site needed to feel energetic and relevant to young people while still communicating the credibility and clarity expected from an international project, and the available content had to be shaped into a structure that felt purposeful rather than sparse.
Key Design/Development Directions
The design balances youthful energy with information discipline. A playful colour language and dynamic visual moments communicate optimism and participation, while strong hierarchy prevents the site from becoming visually childish or difficult to scan. With relatively limited source content, I used modular sections and participation-oriented calls to action to create rhythm without inventing unnecessary complexity. The key trade-off was expression versus clarity: the site needed enough personality to feel made for young people, but not so much that the project message or opportunities became secondary. Responsive behaviour and accessibility were treated as part of that judgment because the same content needed to remain understandable across different users and devices.
Project Outcome
The project created a clearer and more engaging digital presence for youth-focused European content and participation initiatives.
