Project Description

I redesigned the Amina Koso Hairstylist website around the idea that the digital experience should feel as premium and polished as the service itself. At the same time, the educational offer needed a strategic repositioning: instead of selling isolated long-form videos, the platform had to communicate a structured learning product with courses, payments, guidance and certification.

Key Design/Development Directions

The main design decision was to make perceived value visible before the user reaches price or purchase. A deep, elegant palette, refined typography and carefully retouched imagery create a sense of expertise, exclusivity and professional care. The UX for education was built around trust: users needed a reason to see the offer as accredited learning from an experienced professional rather than content they could find for free elsewhere. I therefore prioritized course structure, learning outcomes, instructor credibility and certification. The trade-off was to maintain a luxury visual language without hiding practical information or making the purchasing flow feel ornamental. WooCommerce and Tutor LMS were used to turn that positioning into a clear end-to-end learning and checkout experience.

Project Outcome

The redesign strengthened the brand story and transformed the educational offer from a simple video purchase into a more credible, professional and valuable online learning product.
