Project Description
I worked on Domas.hr as an ongoing digital presence for a Croatian organization supporting children and families, combining UX/UI design, development, content updates and continuous optimization. Because the subject matter is people-focused and information-heavy, the website needed to feel dependable and approachable while remaining easy for the organization to maintain over time.
Key Design/Development Directions
The UX is built around reducing friction for visitors who may be searching for specific support, information or organizational content. Clear navigation, readable content blocks and predictable page structures help users orient themselves quickly, while a calm visual approach avoids adding unnecessary cognitive load. I treated performance, SEO, responsiveness and accessibility as UX decisions rather than technical afterthoughts because trust is influenced by whether a site feels reliable and easy to use. Ongoing work also required judgment about when to redesign and when to improve incrementally; a maintainable Elementor/WordPress structure made it possible to evolve the site without repeatedly rebuilding it. The long-term nature of the project meant adapting to new content and needs rather than solving the website only once.
Project Outcome
The ongoing improvements produced a clearer, faster and easier-to-maintain website, with reported growth in both website visits and inquiries.
