Project Description

I built Svesnart as a complete e-commerce experience that combines an independent art brand with a scalable online store and print-on-demand fulfilment. The challenge was to support conversion across a catalogue of more than 100 products without making the store feel like a generic retail marketplace or allowing the commerce interface to compete with the artwork.

Key Design/Development Directions

The artwork remains the emotional focal point, so the surrounding interface is intentionally calm and supportive. Collections and product discovery help users browse naturally, while clear product information and familiar WooCommerce patterns reduce uncertainty once a piece creates interest. I chose predictable commerce conventions for cart and checkout because novelty in transactional steps would add friction without strengthening the brand. The visual layer is where personality and emotion live; the purchasing layer is where clarity and trust take priority. Printful integration also shaped the system because product data, fulfilment and future collection growth needed to scale without manual handling. The main trade-off was therefore expression versus conversion, with each given priority in the part of the journey where it matters most.

Project Outcome

The result was a fully launched online store with more than 100 products, integrated fulfilment and a structure that can scale with future collections.
