Project Description
REVIVER is a digital learning platform focused on regenerative agriculture, combining educational content, project resources and practical tools within one ecosystem. Alongside the website, I designed and developed the RE-AGRI Calculator, a custom Node.js decision-support tool that transforms farm-specific data into personalized regenerative agriculture recommendations, financial projections and practical investment guidance. The result is a platform that moves beyond simply explaining sustainable agriculture and gives users a way to apply that knowledge to their own farming scenario.
Key Design/Development Directions
The main challenge was translating complex agricultural, environmental and financial data into an experience that feels simple and understandable. The platform was structured to guide users from learning about regenerative agriculture toward applying that knowledge in practice, while the calculator collects farm-specific inputs such as land size, crop type, soil conditions, climate, budget and timeframe and turns them into clear recommendations, projected costs, financial gains and ROI guidance.
A key UX decision was to keep the complexity of calculations and AI processing in the background. Users do not need to understand the formulas or backend logic, only what the result means for their farm and whether an investment makes sense. The RE-AGRI Calculator was developed as a standalone Node.js application, deployed through Vercel and integrated into the WordPress platform, including generation of downloadable PDF reports for further use.
Project Outcome
REVIVER developed from an informational project website into a more practical digital ecosystem that combines education with personalized decision support. The RE-AGRI Calculator allows users to move from learning about regenerative agriculture to exploring how those practices could work within their own farm, budget and timeframe, while demonstrating a complete process from UX thinking and interface design to custom development and AI integration.
